La Diavolessa for New Chamber Opera

Purporting to have devised Opera Buffa as we know it today, Baldassare  Galuppi and his librettist Carlo Goldoni wrote La Diavolessa an 18th century comedy, set in Naples, featuring the usual tales of mistaken identity, summoned spirits and elements of farce. There are three more shows remaining and to find out more about the production, do follow this link for a review by Curtis Rogers.
We’re all delighted to be performing live again, particularly in the beautiful setting of the Warden’s Garden of New College, Oxford.
